A Haven For Wildlife
Rhinog Park
At Rhinog Park, we are proud to do our bit to protect and enhance Britain’s natural environment. We are busily adding to our wildlife-friendly features each year and would love you to take the time to explore them.
Things to look out for on the Park during your visit:
BAT HOUSE: installed in 2021, this quickly became occupied by Pipistrelle Bats.
BAT AND BIRD BOXES: the bird boxes are particularly well-used during the nesting season.
PLANTING FOR POLLINATORS: our beautiful flower borders are improving every year.
NATIVE TREES: more than 200 native trees have been planted on the park in the last few years.
JUBILEE TREE: as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy project, we planted a Cherry Tree. Do walk round the park and find it – it’s marked with a special plaque.
We hope you enjoy watching the wildlife and exploring the natural features of our lovely park!
